| Description |
Public transport is the centrepiece of future-oriented and sustainable mobility in urban and rural areas. In the sub-module "Öffentlicher Verkehr und Mobilitätsmanagement“ of the overall module "Verkehrsplanung", students learn and discuss with experts from science and practice how public transport works, what challenges exist in operation, but also what design options will be possible in the future. Both planning and operational basics are taught. The linking of public transport with other mobility services as part of municipal or company mobility management is another focus of the sub-module. The focus here is on working with specific target groups, the use of mobility apps and the discussion of practical examples.
Current topics relating to digitalisation and decarbonisation are also of particular importance.
The module concludes with an excursion to the SW Weimar depot to view the hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. |

The sub module ”Public transportation and mobility management” deals with the basics of mobility, mobility behaviour and perspectives of different user groups, target groups of mobility management, survey methods for data acquisition, measures and package of measures for mobility management as well as methods developing mobility services. |

Das Teilmodul ÖFFENTLICHER VERKEHR UND MOBILITÄTSMANAGEMENT (3 ECTS) ist Bestandteil des Moduls VERKEHRSPLANUNG (6 ECTS). Den zweiten Teil des Moduls VERKEHRSPLANUNG (6 ECTS) bildet das Teilmodul METHODEN DER VERKEHRSPLANUNG (3 ECTS), welches ebenfalls im Wintersemester angeboten wird. | Target Group |
Das Teilmodul richtet sich primär an Studierende aus den Masterstudiengängen Umweltingenieurwissenschaften, Bauingenieurwesen, Management [BII] und Urbanistik. Weitere Studierende aus allen Bachelor- und Masterstudiengängen sind herzlich willkommen. Fragen zur Anrechnung können gern individuell bzw. mit dem zuständigen Prüfungsamt besprochen werden. |
