…My hobby as Art
In this course we will take a look at the general concept of the hobbyist and hobby culture and try to contrast the hobby movement with institutional art. We will also take a look at outliers that work in the realms of outsider art.
Furthermore, we will use our new insights as an inspiration to take a look at our own hobbies and discuss whether and in what way we might utilise them in our own artist practice ;)
