Guest lecturer Amir Tausinger from the Tel Aviv University / Steve Tisch School for Film andTelevision will hold this workshop for documentary film making.
The topic ”WORK!” applies to your subjects as you will portrait the work of Weimar residents as well as you approach to filmmaking in this workshop that takes place from 20.5. to 30.5. and involves the shooting and editing of your film.
The research for your protagonist and pre-production will happen before the workshop for which you will meet Amir Tausinger online twice in April to talk about your concept.
Lets make an advantage of the limited time we have to create documentaries that will stand on their own as short films – or will be the basis for longer films later on.
What short stories can we tell by observing a working person? By observing a working place? By being with workers in their cigarette or lunch break? By hearing the sounds of a small business or a factory?
On May 30th you will present your finished films.
